                  Yoga Styles 

                  Hatha Yoga 

Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles. Relatively gentle, slow and great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style of yoga.

                      Vinyasa

Like Hatha, it is a general term that describes many different styles of yoga. It essentially means movement synchronized with breath and is a vigorous style based on rapid flow throw sun salutations.

                     Yin Yoga 

Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga in which poses are held for 3-5 minutes. Even though it is passive it can be quite challenging. The purpose is to apply moderate stress to the connective tissue- tendons, fascia and ligaments.

              Restorative Yoga 

Restorative yoga is a gentle, relaxing passive form of yoga that allows students to relax and release the body into a gentle stretch. It makes use of a wide range of props, including bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets. 

                   Yoga Nidra 

Yoga Nidra is a guided sleep meditation. Yoga "sleep" as it is commonly known is a powerful meditation technique which offers a place to explore what you need in the moment. It cultivates multiple levels of well being and a deeply restful experience.
